After reading the wonderful comments about the ease of your process-and that you spread the GOOD WORD- I have decided to try canning for the very first time. My daughter sells peaches every summer as a fundraiser for her school choir so we will have plenty to practice with! 😊

Once they’ve popped, lay the jar on their sides. That prevents the fruit and syrup from separating. Just fyi!

Dietz was a brand internationally recognized, then they transfer the production in China. Actuelly, they claim that Chinese manufacturer use the same material quality and the same process and ingeneering... We can clearly see that it's not the case... There is other brand that are of equal (or even betetr quality) at a cheaper price nowaday.

5+ years ago I used to watch your videos and learned so much about preparedness from you, Christa. Thank you so much for sharing your passion and knowledge...Life happened and now It is June 2024, I recently moved to Calgary, Canada. Due to a break in the main waterline we are on a water usage emergency for 2 weeks now and have been told it might last for another 4 weeks... My washer doesn't have enough pressure to wash my clothes. Since I do like DIYs and also believe in being prepared, I thought of researching an off-grid laundry system. I had the idea of using a bucket and a plunger, but this is much more "high-end". Love the idea! I am going to make it and check it off my list for emergency preparedness-and use it to catch up on my piles of laundry.

Lol, I harvested some pinecones from a Jeffrey pine the same way you harvested yours; throwing a rope and pulling the branch down (only I was also on top of my car, lol). Thankfully we've got a lot of single-leaf pinion pine in my area and they're shorter so I was able to get more of those. Thank you for this video, I was wondering if I was doing it wrong by chopping it. That's also good to know I could add more sugar, too. First time making this, I REALLY hope I like it 'cause I used up all of our mason jars for it, haha.

Preppering is NOT about have goods, its about having trained skills that allow you to effectively live off the land and to protect yourself or others. Its about being in the best physical and spiritual shape you can be. "You can give them a fish and they will eat for a day, or you can teach them to fish and they will eat for lifetime"

I just came across your video when I was searching for some info on the, One Minute Cure. Which gives a protocol to take it internally, diluted of course. I have purchased the 35% and use it as a mouthwash for periondontal disease and wash my veggies and fruits, let it soak for 20 minutes. What I've learned here today is how it can get rid of mold, which I have around my bathtub. Thank you for this tip, I will try it. Very interrsting info, I have subsribed to your channel.

You should check out master gardener Gary Matuosuka from Laguna hills nursery. Stevia probably likes so much water because it probably grows naturally in water or in a loamy sand, silt, clay mixture. Probably high in clay.

That's exactly what I thought at first. The water cylinder is hollow, so I can't put any water in there as it will flow out. You can only see from the drawing that there is a partition wall between the water chamber and the hollow space. Thank you for this good explanation. Seeing in practice is always better than just reading.
